UROCAL
UROCAL is located in Guayas, in the province of El Oro, Ecuador. The company is made up of women's organizations, youth associations, credit unions, and small businesses that produce their own food products, mainly organic cocoa and bananas. It now includes 600 farming families.
The organization uses their Fair Trade premium money on a variety of social programs, including medical and dental clinics, organic community gardens, composting facilities, protective safety equipment for workers and education.

Programs
Organic Garden and Composting Project
Urocal members have cultivated an organic garden. The organization has also started a composting program, making organic compost available to all of their members.
Health and Dental Care Clinics
Urocal provides free health and dental care clinics for its members and their families.
